“Hot and cold therapy: A journey of awakening your well-being.”

“To experience hot & cold therapy within the embrace of nature provides the opportunity to connect to the inherent well-being that is always available to us.”

Hot & cold therapies are ancient practices that have been used over the years to purify the body, enhance well-being and increase energy and vitality.

We invite you to join us in our Village, where you will find our Tipi surrounded by swaying trees, an open meadow and view of the serene nestled pond. The smoke leaving the chimney of our wood-fired sauna (otherwise known as the Banya) signals the beginning of a transformative hot-cold ceremony.

You will be welcomed by a knowledgeable host who will be there to guide your experience, answer your questions and support you through this powerful adventure.

As you take a seat within the Banya and you’re immediately surrounded by the soothing aroma of cedar mixed with the mist filled with essential oils that evaporates from the hot stones. As your body gradually warms you can feel your body begin to surrender, to deeply relax and to let go of what no longer serves you. Your guide will lead you with a centering meditation so that you can give yourself fully to the moment.

There is comfort found in trusting in the knowing of your body to support you through your experience. As the heat rises in your body, you sense that it is time to transition into the cold immersion. You step outside to be embraced by the refreshing scents of the nature that surrounds you, feeling the gentle wind brushing your skin. You can feel the embrace of Mother Nature and her ever present care and support.

You gradually submerge yourself into the cold tub, noticing the feelings that are stirred within your body, a reminder of your aliveness and vitality. As you connect to your breath, the movement of the inhale and exhale become your anchor in this experience. All that exists is the here and now.

When you feel ready, you exit the tub, noticing the energy coursing through your body, the sense of accomplishment and awe that arises within your being and the realization of how powerful your body really is.

The ceremony will end with an Integration Circle around the fire in the tipi.

“My calling is to encourage clients to choose the way they want to live.”

In my sessions, I invite clients to acknowledge and honor their own unique needs and intentions. This experience of ‘self-sensing’ and ‘self-awareness’ becomes a tool that I encourage students to apply in their daily life.

As a coach and therapist, I have assisted in improving the lives of numerous individuals who have reached out to me with a variety of health conditions and life changes.
