This workshop series is not trying to replicate a culinary institute! We will not be demonstrating expert chopping techniques and testing you on how many onions you can successfully cut into a 1/8″ slices in less than an hour. We are two Holistic Nutritionists & passionate home cooks, who love cooking and we want to help you find the same ease and joy that we have in the kitchen. The 4-part workshop series is broken down into the following learning modules:

  1. Getting Comfortable in your Kitchen
    • Selecting the Proper Knife & Basic Chopping Techniques
    • Interchangeability between Food Processor vs. Blender
    • Overview of Kitchen Staples
  2. Basics of Nutrition
    • Overview of Macronutrients
    • Overview of Micronutrients
    • What is the DIET for YOU?
  3. Pairings & Substitutions
    • Balancing your Plate
    • Letting go of perfectionism (in the Kitchen)
    • Feeling into the Ingredients
  4. Making a Balanced Meal
    • Putting it all together – hands-on cooking

  • You had a traumatic experience with a dish or recipe in the past, and it has prevented you from finding comfort in the kitchen (again)
  • You find cooking boring or uninteresting, but deep-down know cooking can be fun
  • You wish to make nourishing meals for yourself, but don’t feel empowered (yet)
  • You feel confined by recipes and without one are lost
